Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
3–8 years of experience in mechanical design for robotics, automotive systems, industrial machinery, or
similar complex hardware products.
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting with a solid understanding of GD&T principles.
Experience performing stress analysis, load calculations, and tolerance stack-up analysis for moving
mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with Finite Element Analysis tools for structural validation and optimization.
Understanding of dynamic loading conditions, vibration analysis, and fatigue considerations in mobile
systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding,
casting, and assembly methods.
Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and perform structured root-cause analysis.

Preferred Experience

Experience designing mobile robotic platforms or electric vehicles.
Exposure to drivetrain systems, wheel assemblies, or steering mechanisms for ground vehicles.
Experience designing for industrial environments with dust, vibration, and continuous duty cycles.
Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Experience transitioning products from prototype to pilot production and working with fabrication
vendors
